Yamantaka Wooden Statue, Perfect addition to your Zen Decor Space
This meticulously handpainted wooden Yamantaka statue. While the body of Yamantaka is decorated with high-quality original stones by hand-dusting process, the other stones used are of average quality.
Yamantaka is a violent aspect of the Bodhisattva Manjushri, who assumes this form to vanquish Yama, the god of death. By defeating Yama, the cycle of rebirths (samsara) that prevents enlightenment is broken. As Yamantaka's numerous hands fight evil and his legs trample demons and disbelievers, he and his consort Vajravetali (the wrathful form of Sarasvati) create new life.
