The Tibetan Stupa of Enlightenment and Protection, created from copper and finished with beautiful electro gold plating, is an admired symbols of the Buddha's enlightened mind and the path to spiritual awakening. The stupa's tiered structure depicts the journey from the earthy sphere to enlightened consciousness, with each level representing a step of enlightenment. The square base, covered with floral designs, represents stability and the foundation of the Buddha's teachings, while the delicately sculpted steps represent the seven levels of awakening, each one bringing you closer to the ultimate knowledge.

The stupa features beautiful iconographic elements, such as relief panels depicting protective deities and mythological creatures. These figurines act as guardians, protecting the sacred monument and representing the strength and security of the Buddha's teachings. The central sector, which houses a Buddha image, represents the essence of knowledge and compassion, and is enclosed by a ceremonial entrance, or torana, that marks the entrance into a sacred space. The highest dome (Anda) represents the Buddha's limitless understanding, whereas the spire, which is finished with a sun and spiral moon emblem, represents the marriage of wisdom and compassion.

A jewel-like finial crowns the stupa, representing the ultimate state of enlightenment. Currently, in Buddhism, the shape of a stupa is related to the meditative status of Buddha, with the base of the monument representing the crossed legs, the middle part representing the rest of the body, and the top representing the head of Buddha. This unusual shape is related not only to the body of Buddha, his energy and spirit, but also to the path towards Enlightenment, to a mountain, and the entire universe. This place represents Buddha's mind and body, the connection between divinity and the physical part of Buddhism. This is the perfect representation of his enlightened mind.

How to set up your own Buddhist Shrine?

• Set up an altar table, and cover it with an altar cloth that calls to you
• Place your sacred item (statue, thangka, or a picture of Buddha) at the center
• If you want a more elaborate altar, you can put a Stupa as well.
