Introduction To The Tibetan Buddhist Ghau Box :
The Tibetan Buddhist Ghau Box is a copper container used to hold a Tibetan Buddhist amulet that is worn as jewelry as a compact container for keeping and transporting potent amulets. A written prayer or holy mantra chart like Kalachakra is typically included in the Gau box used in Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, and Mongolia. A priest typically writes or prints prayers and mantras, and they are always blessed before usage.
