The Eight Spoked Wheel Kalachakra Mandala
About Thangka
Our thangka is a handpainted Tibetan art done using traditional methods. It is a unique piece created using genuine 24K gold and natural stone colors.
Introduction To The Eight-Spoked Wheel Kalachakra Mandala :
This version of the Kalachakra Mandala is decorated with four auspicious symbols. These symbols are known as Ashtamangala, and they are depicted in the four corners of the thangka painting.
The central symbol of the lotus, representing the Buddha, is surrounded by a structure that manifests as a palace.
Every detail of the mandala, each deity, and symbol, has both a physical meaning (Outer Kalachakra) and spiritual symbolism (Inner Kalachakra), and the doors of the structure interconnect them.
This Mandala is a symbol of inner peace and helps to restore physical and mental balance.
