Tibetan Buddhist Prayer Wheel
About Our Prayer Wheel:
This Buddhist Prayer Wheel, carefully made from a copper body plated with electro gold and silver, is a stunning ceremonial tool for spiritual rituals. The spinning wheel has a round shape and is embellished with auspicious symbols artistically etched on its outside surface, representing blessings, protection, and harmony. The coral and turquoise inlay provides a sense of elegance and sacredness, heightening its spiritual significance.
The prayer wheel's foundation features a one-of-a-kind design with four lion statues facing in different directions, representing strength, courage, and the guardianship of sacred sites. The wooden base provides solidity and a sense of grounding. With dimensions of 15.5 cm in height and 13 cm in breadth, and a weight of 0.65 kg, this prayer wheel is not only a utilitarian instrument for daily prayer, but also a gorgeous decorative object strongly rooted in Buddhist traditions.
Introduction to Prayer Wheel
A prayer wheel is cylindrical on a spindle used in Tibetan Buddhism. It is typically inscribed with the mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum" and rotated by hand as a form of spiritual practice and to accumulate merit. Spinning the wheel is believed to have the same spiritual benefits as verbally reciting the mantra. The use of prayer wheels is widespread in Tibetan Buddhism and has spread to other cultures.
