Traditionally Hand Painted Kurukulla Thangka Art

We have originally hand-painted the exquisite thangka of Kurukulla in a traditional Karma Gadri style. You can use this detailed artwork on different Buddhist occasions, in your everyday meditational activities, and for indoor purposes. We have used genuine 24k gold and painted with acrylic colors on a mesmerizing cotton canvas. We are the Kathmandu Valley artist whose artisan in making ancient Vajrayana thangka has passed through generations. We have depicted a deity standing on top of a sun disc lotus seat above a human body with a wrathful expression. We have portrayed the Dakini deity with four hands carrying different auspicious symbolic materials inside the encircled fire flame which engulf her.

Kurukulla is a female, peaceful semi-wrathful Yidam in Tibetan Buddhism, particularly associated with rites of magnetization or enchantment. The diety Kurukulla is said to confer success on devotees who participate in tantric rituals to enchant and subjugate or bewitch men, women, kings, and ministers.

OUR TEAM
We are a team of traditionally trained Karma Gadri artists from Boudha Stupa. Our lineage comes from Venerable Master Jamyang Phunshok. Who is from Kham, Eastern Tibet.

We are focused on bringing accurate iconographic thangka, which will be helpful to your practice.

BROCADE MOUNT
We do traditional brocade mount upon your request. We send available samples and price details for your final confirmation.

CONSECRATION OF THANGKA
As requested for consecrations/blessings, we can take thangka to Monasteries/Rinpoches from nearby Boudha Stupa. We kindly ask you to offer $50 for the monasteries for blessings/consecration services.

Consecration of Thangka Print
At the EvamRatna, the consecration procedure entails a precisely planned set of rituals and ceremonies. As requested for consecration/ blessing, we take the thangka print to respective Monasteries.
