Hand-Painted Buddhism Thangka of Green Mother Tara

The exquisite thangka painting portrays the Goddess Green Tara in all her resplendent glory, adopting the graceful Lalitasana, or Royal Ease posture. In this position, she exudes an air of regality and elegance. Adorned with vibrant hues and intricate details, she holds a fully bloomed Blue Utpala flower delicately between her thumb and ring finger on her left arm. Meanwhile, on her right arm, the Goddess gracefully displays the Granting Mudra. The Goddess is depicted seated atop a lotus seat, which is in turn placed upon a crescent moon. This celestial arrangement signifies her connection to the divine realm, her celestial nature, and her role as the embodiment of divine feminine energy.
