Buddha Shakyamuni Thangka
Introduction To The Thangka :
Shakyamuni Buddha, sometimes known as "the Buddha," is the historical Buddha and the founder of Buddhist thought. Each "Kalpa" (a Buddhist eon) is seen as having its own Buddha in the Buddhist faith, whose teachings eventually dwindle until the next Buddha appears. He is thought to have lived around 420 BC and devoted the most of his time to preaching the Dharma. His life is vividly portrayed in The Life of Buddha Thangka. He is regarded as an inspiration, a mentor, and a role model. He is claimed to be guaranteed a place on Earth by the "dharma," or spiritual doctrine, and the "sanga," or Buddhist society.
