Female Deity Artwork | White Tara Thangka For Longevity
Hand-Painted Female Deity Artwork| The Healing Goddess Thangka
Female Deity Artwork, White Tara showcases delicate details and vibrant colors, capturing the serene and compassionate essence of the goddess. The Thangka is embellished with genuine 24K gold, which is applied to highlight the religious qualities of the goddess, transforming it from a work of art into a spiritual object. Skillfully placed acrylic colors bring out brilliant details and depth, while the cotton canvas provides a robust and textured surface. The use of materials in the Thangka also highlights the elaborate patterns typical of the Karma Gadri style, which is renowned for its delicate brushwork and profound meaning.
White Tara, a revered goddess of compassion and healing in Tibetan Buddhism, is depicted in this exquisite thangka in a calm yet commanding pose, radiating serenity and strength. Seated in the meditative lotus position (padmasana), she symbolizes balance, peace, and spiritual enlightenment. Her right hand is raised in the Varada mudra, representing blessings, healing, and the alleviation of suffering, while her left hand holds a lotus flower, signifying purity and spiritual awakening. Notably, White Tara is portrayed with seven eyes, on her forehead, two on her palms, and two on her soles, symbolizing her omniscient awareness and deep compassion for all beings. Her posture and gestures emphasize her role as a divine protector, healer, and guide, making her a powerful symbol of longevity, peace, and spiritual growth in Tibetan tradition.
