The Tibetan Buddhist Shrine Stupa is a revered emblem of enlightenment that represents the Buddha's enlightened intellect. This stupa, 23.5cm tall and 11.5cm wide, is meticulously created for meditation activities, altar offerings, and spiritual home décor. In Tibetan Buddhism, stupas are venerated as mighty monuments that provide blessings and create an aura of serenity and protection wherever they are located.
This Buddhist stupa, made of copper and plated with exquisite gold, exemplifies Himalayan craftsmanship at its finest. The dome, spire, and base are intricately crafted to follow traditional symbolism, with each component representing a stage of the Buddha's path to awakening. Practitioners frequently consecrate stupas with relics, mantras, or offerings, transforming them into vessels of merit and spiritual force. This Tibetan Buddhist Shrine Stupa, ideal for altars, meditation rooms, monasteries, or as a thoughtful gift, has profound spiritual significance. It improves meditation practice, serves as a reminder of compassion and knowledge, and sends positive energy into your environment. Adding this gold-plated copper stupa to your holy place enriches your spiritual journey while also honouring centuries of Buddhist heritage.
Introduction To Stupa :
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
