In our workshop, we sculpted this Buddha Amitabha Prayer Sculpture. For the molding of the deity, we used copper. After molding, we hand-carved intricate design patterns on the figurine using a hammer and chisels. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. Then the deity is gilded using genuine 24K gold. We have adorned the statue with valuable gemstones on the robe and the lotus seat. To highlight the facial attributes of the deity, acrylic paints were used. Amitabha Buddha is depicted seated on a moon disc lotus seat in the Dhyana Aasan or meditative position. holding a vas in both hands.
