Wheel of Life Buddhist Print
Introduction To The Thangka Print :
The concept of reincarnation may also be found in Vedic literature; in Sanskrit, "bhavachakra" is a synonym for the word Samsara also known as Wheel Of Life. This is separated into two parts: bhava, which means origin or physical being, and chakra, which means circle or rotation. This concept of rotation or cycle is, in reality, reincarnation! We do not have a fixed location inside Samsara, but rather move from one life to the next based on our Karma.
Beyond Samsara is Nirvana, the realm free of negative emotions, which is the actual essence of bliss and the ultimate realization that we are all pursuing. We are all Buddhas on the path to enlightenment.
How does Thangka benefit us?
It goes without saying that every detail of a painting has a symbolic meaning. Regardless of your religious affiliation, a thangka can help you on your path to enlightenment, whether you practice Buddhism or have other religious convictions. Thangkas are paintings that depict deities with various iconographic elements and symbolism that encourage meditation on the teachings of the god they depict. Any thangka is intended to aid in the removal of the film of ignorance, which is a significant barrier to the road to enlightenment. The Thangka is revered as a holy item. They promote positivity, spread Buddhism's teachings, bring about peace, harmony, and oneness, and dispel any negative energy that may be there.
