Vajrakilaya Statue

About Our Statue :

This Vajrakilaya Statue represents a furious form of the Buddha Vajrasattva. This statue was carved using a machine. He is seen with the phurba dagger, the defining characteristic of his iconography. Three faces in a crown of skulls are a typical representation of Vajrakilaya. Additionally, he has six arms: two hold the Kila daggers, two hold a vajra, one a blazing snare, and the other a trident. Demons that stand for impediments to spiritual enlightenment are crushed under his feet.

Introduction To Vajrakilaya :

Vajrakilaya (Dorje Phurpa), also known as Vajrakumara (Dorje Zhonu, Youthful Vajra), is the wrathful Heruka deity who embodies the enlightened activity of all the Buddhas. Vajrakilaya is one of the eight Heruka deities of the Nyingma tantras. Vajrakilaya is also the personal meditational deity of Guru Padmasambhava. He practiced meditation on Vajrakilaya when many obstacles manifested before his display of attaining enlightenment.

How do take care of your statues?

  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
