Introduction To Protector Dukkar :
The White Umbrella Goddess, Protector Dukkar, is the powerful female god in Vajrayana Buddhism. She shows her power with her thousand heads, arms, and legs, and has eyes on the centers of every one of her hands and the bottoms of her feet.
Each of her heads has three eyes. Standing proudly in a halo burning with the fire of wisdom, her multiple legs trample on enemies of spiritual achievement (anger, greed, delusions, etc.).
Sitatapatra’s delicate beauty belies her indomitability. Moreover, she represents an invincible force. The method of invoking her is relatively. It is a fortuitous combination that has commended her practice to Buddhists throughout Asia and established her in the repertoire of every Tibetan Buddhist sector.

Why taking care of your Thangka is important?
A thangka should be treated with the same care and respect that is given to a Buddhist statue. Thangkas are intricate pieces of art, often made from silk and made by hand. Because of this, it is important to take care of your thangka properly to preserve it for future generations.
