About Our Statue :

The powerful meaning of death, impermanence, and spiritual protection is represented in this oxidized copper statue of Citipati. This remarkable sculpture, which was handcrafted from copper, represents the Citipati, skeletal consorts engaged in a cosmic dance frequently seen in Tibetan Buddhist temples and ceremonial areas. In Vajrayana tradition, these dancing deities are revered as powerful protectors and reminders of life's transience. They also have a spiritual and meditative purpose.

This intricate statue, which stands 20.5 cm tall and weighs 1.42 kg, has expressive skeletal features and flaming back halos, all supported by an elaborate lotus base. Its sacred appeal is increased by the historical, worn aspect that the oxidized copper finish gives. The Citipati are called upon to protect charnel sites from evil forces and encourage practitioners to embrace death, attachment, and ego. Perfect for altars, meditation spaces, or Himalayan ritual art collectors.

Introduction to Chitipati :

A well-known deity in Tibetan Buddhism, particularly in the Vajrayana or Tantric tradition, is Chitipati, which is also called Citipati. Chitipati is frequently portrayed as a dancing skeletal figure and is known as the "Lord of the Cemetery" or the "Cemetery Guardian." This representation symbolizes life's impermanence and death's inevitability, central themes in Buddhist teachings.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting

During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks.
