Medicine Buddha Small Statue
About Statue
This small statue of Medicine Buddha (Bhaiajyaguru) was machine-sculpted and electroplated with genuine 24k gold. We've depicted him in a calm and peaceful figure seated in a beautifully carved lotus seat. In his left hand, he holds an alms bowl full of long-life nectar, and in his right hand, which is in an earth-touching mudra, he carries "great medicine," the myrobalan plant.
Introduction to Medicine Buddha
Medicine Buddha, also known as Bhaishajyaguru in Sanskrit, is regarded as the Buddha of Healing. His teachings aim to free sentient beings from sickness, pain, anguish, and unhappiness while also emphasizing the need to acquire prosperity and enjoyment in this life. Many meditators in the Mahayana tradition admire his healing abilities. He is frequently shown with a blue (lapis lazuli) body and hands carrying a begging bowl and medical herbs.

How do take care of your statues?
- Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
- Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
- Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
- Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
