Introduction to Kaal Bhairava
Hindus worship Kala Bhairava, a Shaivite god. He is a strong manifestation, or avatar, of Shiva associated with destruction in Shaivism. Bhairava signifies Supreme Reality in the Trika system, which is identical to Para Brahman.
Bhairava is derived from the word bhiru, which means "fearsome." Bhairava translates as "terribly fearsome form." It is sometimes referred to as one who removes fear or one who is fearless. According to one interpretation, he protects his believers from horrible dangers, greed, desire, and wrath. These adversaries are dangerous because they never enable humanity to seek God within. Another interpretation is that bha represents creation, ra implies sustenance, and va indicates destruction. As a result, Bhairava is the one who originates, sustains, and dissolves life's three stages. As a result, he becomes the ultimate or supreme.
