About Our Thangka :

For more than 20 years, this Thangka has been a part of our collection. It spent many years being kept secret. We only lately decided to put our collection of vintage thangkas on display. We were thrilled to deliver these wonderful thangkas, and when we saw their quality and depth, we decided to post them online as a resource for everyone.

Introduction To Heruka Mandala :

Heruka is translated as drag tung, which in Tibetan means a blood-drinker. Heruka primarily has three different connotations when employed in art and iconography, which are listed below. Heruka is a term used to describe a masculine meditational god in the Nyingma (Old) Tradition who is initially wrathful and typically has three faces, six limbs, four legs, wings, and a consort. Eight prominent Nyingma Heruka goddesses are present.

Some deities with a semi-peaceful-semi-wrathful tendency, known as Heruka, emerged from various Revealed Treasure Traditions. The name Heruka often refers to any complex Anuttarayoga male-meditational deity, benign or wrathful, that manifests in a shorter form with one face, two arms, and a consort in the Sarma (New) Traditions of Sakya, Kagyu, Jonang, and others.

The Gelug Tradition's (also Sarma-affiliated) use of the name "Heruka" nearly exclusively refers to the intricately detailed meditational deity Chakrasamvara.

How To Clean Thangka?

Maintain a thangka in a dry location. To delicately clean any dirt from the thangka's surface, use a very soft brush. Be very careful not to disrupt the surface when brushing. Never use a brush to apply paint so vigorously that it fades.

Consecration of Thangka Print
At the EvamRatna, the consecration procedure entails a precisely planned set of rituals and ceremonies. As requested for consecration/ blessing, we take the thangka print to respective Monasteries.
