About Our Ritual Item :
This elegant Buddhist Serkyem Offering Set is crafted of excellent copper with a delicate silver and gold polish, representing purity and dedication in Buddhist rites. The set is 14 cm in height and 13.5 cm in width, weighing only 0.200 kg. This beautiful item is intended to carry both liquid and solid offerings while symbolizing the Buddhist values of generosity, compassion, and dedication. Combining these metals creates a stunning and sacred vessel for religious ceremonies.
This artistically designed Serkyem is made of exceptional copper and has carved religious themes that embody Tibetan spiritual craftsmanship. The gold-polished accents heighten its divine presence, making it an ideal ritual object for presenting tea, water, or other sacred things. This Serkyem set, which can be utilized in Buddhist ceremonies or as altar decor, is essential for practitioners, monks, and spiritual devotees.
Introduction to Serkyem
The Serkyem, known as Golden Drink, is part of the Dharma Protector's practice. In Tibetan, Ser means "golden," and Kyem means "beverage."
It is offered by pouring the beverage into a cup-like wine glass and placing it into a lower bowl. The beverage is poured into the cup during the offering, where the liquid overflows into the lower bowl. The symbol of the overflowing liquid is highly auspicious because it represents an abundant flow of merits.
