Introduction to Ganesh Statue
He is worshiped widely in both Buddhists and Hindus. In Buddhism, he is depicted in many forms, in this statue we have depicted him sitting on a moon disc atop a lotus. He has an elephant face with three eyes, his eyes are symbolic of wisdom and enlightenment.
The popularity of Buddhist Ganesha extends beyond the spiritual. Ganesha is a Sanskrit name for the protector of prosperity and the remover of hindrances in Tibetan Buddhism. He is Vinayaka, a directional Protector. Avalokiteshvara persuades Ganesha to become a Dharma Protector in one of the Tantra stories.

How do take care of your statues?
- Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
- Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
- Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
- Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
