About Our Statue :
The Gandhara Standing Buddha Statue is a wonderfully carved brass statue. The statue is shown with his right hand raised his index finger pointing up, indicating the teaching gesture, and his left hand resting at his side. The delicate elements of the statue, such as the facial features and drapery, attest to the artist's exceptional craftsmanship. This statue is a beautiful addition to any home or meditation place, reminding us of Buddha's teachings and presence.
Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king in accordance with the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29 years old, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune in order to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).

How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
Please Note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
