About Our Statue :
The machine-made Chenrezig Bodhisattva Figure stands 13.5 cm tall, 9.5 cm wide, and weighs 0.46 kilograms. The statue is composed of oxidized copper that has been silver-plated to achieve a refined, spiritual look. Chenrezig, the bodhisattva of compassion, is shown with four hands, each carrying sacred things that represent his divine characteristics. His right upper hand holds rosary beads, a symbol of prayer and devotion, and his left upper hand softly clasps a lotus blossom, representing purity. His primary hand is in a namaste position, clutching the wish-fulfilling jewel, which means granting aspirations and attaining enlightenment.
The throne beneath the figure is exquisitely carved, with complex motifs and intricate workmanship that reach the base, where deity-like artwork is displayed. The carvings on the throne convey a feeling of depth and reverence, placing the figure in a spiritually elevated context.
This Chenrezig Bodhisattva sculpture is an excellent addition to any altar or shrine, with its craftsmanship and precise design emphasizing the importance of compassion in Buddhist practice. The oxidized copper, silver plating, detailed throne carvings, and Chenrezig's tranquil look make this piece ideal for any collection or spiritual setting. The artwork depicts the bodhisattva's deep spiritual connection with those seeking compassion and instruction.
Introduction To Chenresig :
Avalokiteshvara, also known in Tibet as 1000-armed Chenrezig, is the Bodhisattva of compassion. He is one of the most popular Bodhisattvas in the Tibetan community. He is celebrated and placed in the heart of every Himalayan community.
The practice of Avalokiteshvara encourages the development of a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. Kindness, calmness, and an open mind are only possible if we are empathetic. Avalokiteshvara is used to practice visual meditation to develop a calm, kind, compassionate heart.
How do take care of your statues?
Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
