Buddhist Vajra
About Our Ritual Item :
The Buddhist Vajra is a sacred and powerful symbol that has been cautiously handcrafted on a copper body with 24k gold and silver plating. The Vajra stand is embellished with embedded gemstones and has intricate details that add a touch of elegance and beauty. It comes with a long and big stand which had a length of 21cm with the vajra for easy display. The vajra symbolizes the indestructible and unchangeable nature of enlightenment, making it an indispensable tool in Buddhist rituals and practices. Its craftsmanship and symbolism make it a prized possession for both spiritual practitioners and collectors.
Introduction To Vajra :
The Sanskrit word vajra, which translates to "diamond" or "lightning," is a significant symbol and ritual tool in Hinduism and more so in the Buddhist Vajrayana school ("diamond path"), from which it takes its name.
Tibetan Dorje stands for efficiency and indestructibility which overcomes all challenges. In a symbolic sense, Dorje Vajra eliminates ignorance. The bell and vajra, which stand for the masculine and feminine, ying and yang, successful action, and compassion, respectively, are frequently utilized in Tibetan Buddhist rites. The two pyramidal heads on the Tibetan Dorje are symbolic of samsara and Nirvana, which are balanced out in the middle by the ring of Emptiness. The two heads are symmetrical and symbolize these two states. A Dorje at home might be beneficial in protecting us from the different threats we experience.
