Hand-Painted 4-Arm Chenrezig Bodhisattva Thangka

This 4-Arm Chenrezig Bodhisattva Thangka is an elegant representation of Chenrezig, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, renowned for his profound ability to help all beings with infinite love and mercy. Depicted here with four arms, each hand holds sacred objects, symbolizing his various manifestations of compassion and his divine ability to assist and protect sentient beings. The serene and peaceful posture of the Bodhisattva, seated on a lotus, reflects the deep spiritual practice of meditation and enlightenment. Surrounded by beautifully detailed flowers and natural elements, the thangka’s vibrant colors enhance its calming yet powerful energy, making it perfect for any meditation or altar space.

The cotton canvas provides a durable base for the painting, while genuine 24K gold is delicately applied to key elements such as the Bodhisattva’s aura and ornate decorations, enhancing the spiritual symbolism and divine quality of the artwork. Acrylic colors are used to bring life and vibrancy to Chenrezig’s form, with carefully chosen hues that highlight the intricate details of the robe, facial features, and the surrounding elements.

How to Take Care of Your Thangka?
  • Hang your thangka in a traditional silk brocade.
  • Regularly inspect your thangka; examine the borders and all attachments.
  •  Keep thangkas covered when they are on display but not in use.
  • Rotate thangkas between display and storage two to four times a year to reduce exposure to light. Keep them away from sunlight and humidity.
