This figure, standing 5.5 inches tall and weighing 0.588 kilogram, is well crafted from oxidized copper and plated with silver. The oxidized finish elegantly highlights the complex details of Vairocana's tranquil look, meditative stance, and symbolic hand motions, which represent profound wisdom and enlightenment.
Silver plating and a distinctive oxidized finish highlight the intricate patterns on the base, the lifelike features of Vairocana's face, and the intricate carvings on his robes. These components provide depth and elegance to the statue, increasing its visual appeal and spiritual value.
The Vairocana Buddha is a crucial figure in Mahayana Buddhism. He embodies the Buddhist concept of Shunyata, or emptiness, which must be realized to achieve enlightenment. Vairocana's teachings illuminate the route to liberation by transcending the confines of individual life and unveiling the universal nature of reality. He is frequently connected with the integration of wisdom and compassion. The Illuminating Vairocana Kunrig Statue brilliantly captures the essence of this cosmic Buddha, providing everyone seeking guidance on their spiritual path with a symbol of enlightenment and the universal truth of Buddhism.
Introduction to Vairocana :
Vairocana/ Mahavairocana Buddha is one of the five Dhyani Buddhas sitting on a lotus pedestal surrounded by hundreds of flowers in the statue. He has three heads, and his hands are in a meditative posture. Adhi Buddha created Vairocana as one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. Vairocana means "luminous": or "embodiment of light" in Sanskrit. Vairocana is a Primordial Buddha who sits in the heart of the temple. He's also known as the "great lighting one," "the Life force that illuminates the cosmos."
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
